An excellent end to our cricket season last night, which resulted in another tie, our 2nd of the season. Our opponents had already been relegated, and we were assured of staying in Division 2 for next season, and so it was agreed to give everybody a bowl, and swap the batting around a bit. This resulted in a truly entertaining game for both sides, with much laughing and joking, and the opposition realising if they had done this earlier in the season they probably wouldn’t have been relegated. Needing 7 to win from the last over, we managed to score only 6, and so a tied score brought a most fitting result to a pleasant evenings cricket.
